Alois Krtil

Krtil is one of Germany’s leading AI experts. With his expertise in artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, he advises governments in several European countries, in addition to Germany, on issues of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital sovereignty.

Alois Krtil, born in Prague in 1982, studied business informatics and engineering and began his professional career as a Management Consultant in the field of digital technologies.

From 2011 to 2022, he was Executive Director of the Innovation Contact Point (IKS) Hamburg, where he managed more than 200 technology projects. In 2019, he founded the Artificial Intelligence Center (ARIC) Hamburg, which has since become a widely respected institution for the responsible development of AI.
